I went up to the hospital this morning, Alexis is fine (apart from being bored out of her skull - and she has another 9 hours' observation to go!)
I got back to find the car seat and base had been delivered, and were sitting in the downstairs hallway. I can tell already that we're going to have lots of fun with it - it took me a good 5 minutes to work out how to un-click the seat from the base! Next up, more fun as I try to install the base in the car.
Edit: Done. I'm not convinced about the seat, though... more a case of Alexis/passenger having to slide their seat forward a tad, I guess, to allow the seat's carry handle to fold down [Edit: or not, as I'm told it's best to keep it upright]. Other than that, it seems nice and sturdy :-)
