I have no problem with the idea of a remake, I like remakes, they frequently inspire people to go watch the original, and regardless retelling stories in a different way has a strong tradition (Shakespeare barely wrote any original plots after all).
But Reeves? Ye gods, you'd have thought they'd learn that the boy just can't act by now. Ah well.
