...then it's back to work, A-G-...A-I-N.

So of course, the Northern Line welcomed me with no Bank trains on the High Barnet branch, and a ten-minute wait for the next train at Euston (after watching one pull out of the platform just as I got to it). Add to that idiot drivers and cyclists at pedestrian crossings, dropped coins, people who can't be bothered to tell me that they've released some of my work in my absence, and a totally mind-numbing morning, and I'm well and truly back.

Floyd, one of our members of staff (he does tech support) used to be the bass player in a fairly well-known rock group, The Almighty. Played all the big festivals, even did Top of The Pops, that sort of stuff. Anyway. At the Reading Festival last weekend, someone from work was rummaging through the odds and sods on some stall or other, and came across an old ticket for a gig by The Almighty, signed by all four band members. Price: 80p. So, even before you take into account the cost of the bit of paper, Floyd's autograph is now worth 20p.
