I've always thought how ironic it is that in some people's quest to be different from everyone else, they decide that vandalising their own bodies with lumps of metal is the way to go.... just like thousands of other people.

I'm totally and whole-heartedly with you on this one, neil - no way would I ever be getting this done!
Mind you, since a broken contact lens was responsible for the ulcer that ultimately robbed me of 80% of the sight in my right eye, you wouldn't find me advocating this "procedure" anywhere!
