Matt Julians - also known as Floyd London, bass player in early-90's band The Almighty - is a colleague of mine. He has recently recovered from Leukemia (I forget which specific variety - but at the time of diagnosis, he was given a 50/50 chance of beating it). The Almighty are re-forming, with their original lineup, to play two charity gigs. The first of those is tonight, at The Garage in Glasgow (and is sold out). The second is tomorrow night, at the Mean Fiddler (formerly LA2; next door to G.A.Y.) on Charing Cross Road, and tickets are still available. There should be tickets (£15) available on the night, doors 7pm. I'll be there, along with a number of my colleagues (present and former), including Matt's brother, Dan. If you'd like to come along, and help Leukemia Research, you're more than welcome.
