Apart from a brief trip to the supermarket to pick up some peppers for dinner, I've done very little today - so much so that I decided on a revamp of my website. Well, it's a start; the photographs are somewhat randomly culled from those that I could quickly find, I'm sure better ones can and will be arranged.

Having nailed most of the content yesterday, today I've been playing with style sheets and making it look prettier. I'll admit I prefer the look in Firefox to the one in IE, but that's bias for you. Here's the link. Any comments and suggestions are welcome.

When [livejournal.com profile] kesstrel called just before 3pm today asking for a favour, my immediate reaction was that it was going to involve use of my car. I wasn't disappointed. One 250-mile round trip to Lowestoft later, and Casee has a new kitten, and I'm knackered. I was going to go to [livejournal.com profile] verlaine's Eve-of-New-Year's-Eve party, and I'm sure that arriving at around midnight wouldn't have been a total washout, but the A12 has sucked any immediate partiness out of me. So, just tomorrow's Hogmanay bash at [livejournal.com profile] clarisinda and [livejournal.com profile] papaspoof's to look forward to now - and whilst the RMT have given a whole new meaning to "Free Tube Travel on New Year's Eve", we'll be driving and staying over. Everyone's a winner! Apart from [livejournal.com profile] verlaine, who I still haven't seen in about 100 years - and it'll be 101 by the next time at least.
