I'm doing too much of not much right now, so LJ keeps getting shoved to the back of the queue. I also seem to have developed a knack of not having much to say about anything, despite a fair amount happening. Ah well.

In an effort to be more informative, I'm going to be... informative. Ish. Actually, it's Thursday now. Oops. Aside from going to work (and getting side-tracked into something I wasn't supposed to be doing, and still putting time down to something else...), I played bridge. Which wasn't too good, wasn't too bad. I made TWO doubled game contracts, though, one of them against a seriously good player (he COACHES the England team!) Admittedly, it wasn't his fault, but you gotta take what comes to you.

I've played NO Civ today. I have, however, read a couple of very funny things Civ-related. One is a little feature written by a journalist:

The other is a thread in the CivFanatics forum:

Very sage advice, though I had my own idea to add to it.

Continuing in a similar vein, it has to be said that today was just as boring until 17:15. Then I left work, and it all got better. Apart from the very drunken camerawork, The Bourne Supremacy is an excellent film and well worth catching. Back home and pizza ordered in. About it, really.

I just found out how to make Alpha Centauri run on my PC. Alpha Centauri is the reason I play so much Civ3. Many nights spent up 'til 4am playing it. WEEKnights.
