We've actually not been stuck in the flat over the weekend, which is something of a record. Admittedly today has been the laziest day, but we did get the week's shopping in :-)
Saturday, we ordered a bed, a nice big 6' superking and accompanying mattress. And did we get such a deal! £400 off the whole lot. Unfortunately it won't be delivered at the same time we move into our new flat; so we'll have a few weeks still sleeping in the old bed. We also un-spent some money, returning a set of kitchen scales to John Lewis because the old ones mysteriously started working again.
Sunday, we ventured out to Whipsnade (very expensive, but I'm glad we paid the extra £12 to allow us to drive ourselves around, the place is vast). We came back via Dunstable, missed the turning for the A1000, came down the A10 instead, and so just had to pop into Krispy Kreme for fresh donuts.
And today as already mentioned. Next: England v Pakistan Twenty20 International.
