Last night, I endeared myself to my wife by getting drunk* after work, coming home, eating dinner, then promptly passing out**. It's little things like this that make relationships work.
* 5 pints of Kronenberg - we managed to go to 3 pubs, two of which don't serve Stella, and the first of which didn't sell it in the upstairs bar where we were. Kroney always has a nasty effect on me, I don't like it as much as Stella. I really ought to have drunk bottles of Peroni instead, it was that kind of day, plus appropriate to toast the varying degrees of punishment meted out to Juve, Milan, Fiorentina, and Lazio.
** I did at least manage to get into bed before doing so.
