It was my MD's birthday yesterday (it being the 18th now), and he was 65. I never realised this, of course; but no sign of him retiring, alas. Probably just as well, as he'd most likely wind up the company as let someone else run it.
I also though I knew two people whose birthday was St George's Day, neither of them being English. It turns out I'd mis-remembered
spliceruk's birthday (it's the 26th, the same as my sister - the same one who is now
kathersluv, not the other one). My sister-in-law (the un-married one) has her birthday then.
I celebrated St Paddy's day with a couple of shots of Jameson's - the 8yo (standard pub stock) is a lot more Scotch-like than the creamier, sweeter 12yo. I can't drink Guinness to save my life.
