All of my Ikea furniture is now assembled. The best thing about the desk is that I can give some decent separation to the speakers... it's a noticeable difference. I now have loads of empty boxes, styrofoam, plastic wrappers and general rubbish to shift. And did I remember to buy black binliners in Sainsbury's? Of course not.
Went to the Torrington with Andy to watch the rugby, have a couple of pints, and have lunch (best thing about the Weight Watchers diet - you can eat what you want, you just count the cost. So my steak and chips was entirely legal! And England won, thrashing the Irish 42 points to 6. Andy's bought himself a Gamecube too. I'd get one too, but there's still no killer app for it. Maybe Zelda and Metroid Prime might change that - but for the moment I'm happy with my PS2. Vice City, Crazy Taxi, and Final Fantasy see to that. There's also always Civ 3 to occupy an afternoon, or longer.
