It was the weekend a couple of days ago, and I guess it was sort of busy. Let's recap, shall we?
Friday: Work Christmas do. Start drinking at 4.30pm and extrapolate to approximately 2.00am the following morning - that should give a decent picture.
Saturday: Bridge Club Christmas party. No drinking. Bridge a very small tad below average.
Sunday: Faimly get-together in the approximate vicinity of Basingstoke. Drive there was quiet, drive back was slowed by the North Circular being closed off northbound from Hangar Lane - right until I got there, that is, and found the Police in the process of removing the bollards.
Monday: Off sick. Little to report.
Tuesday: Technically not the weekend, but.... Well I went swimming again. Totally offset, of course, by the amount I managed to eat :-( Not at all helped by the tin of Celebrations that turned up at work. One of the directors came to ask me if the network had gone down, he couldn't get on the internet. A coupld of minutes later, I overheard muttering coming from his office about a network cable coming unplugged... honestly, you just can't get the staff these days.
