All is quiet. The calm before the storm. In a couple of hours' time, we're heading to the hotel/country club where the wedding is, and going to dinner with both families (in American wedding-speak, this is the "Rehearsal Dinner"). We only vaguely know where the restaurant is.
For now, though, we're relaxing, having seen off the in-laws. There is cheesecake in the fridge. My credit card, thank goodness, can go away for the weekend - everything up to and including Sunday breakfast is now paid for.
And I have a dilemma, and this is where I need some assistance, esteemed readers.
I bought a hip-flask, and I have a choice of two whiskies to fill it with:
