Well, the one who said he'd be here between 9.30 and 10 this morning. And never showed. And never called to explain he be late/couldn't make it/whatever. So we still don't have a serviceable kitchen, I don't have much in the way of clean clothes, and this bunch of fuckwit cowboys have banked a cheque for 270 quid of my money.

Suffice it to say they won't be coming anywhere near here again

Ask them for your money back. If they don’t immediately offer you a cheque by post, ask them for the phone number of Trading Standards (not that you’d expect them to have it, nor believe them if they gave it to you — more to get your point across).

Plan to write a letter to Trading Standards in a week’s time anyway.
