1) What is your favourite whisky from the lowlands?
I've not had many lowlands - the only one I can specifically recall is the Rosebank from the SMWS.
2) What is your favourite whisky from the highlands?
I'm not overly familiar with too many of them - but I am partial to the Dalwhinnie 15yo.
3) What is your favourite whisky from speyside?
Of the Speysides - of which there are, of course, a lot - I'd go for a Mortlach. Which one, I'm not sure.
4) What is your favourite whisky from the islay?
Very, very, difficult. A Caol Ila or an Ardbeg? Or a Port Ellen, even? I'll say this: the Caol Ila 15yo I got for my birthday has disappeared quite quickly, and I do like it a lot. But then, the Ardbeg Lord of the Isles is very nice, and so is the '77. I don't know! I give up!
5) What is your favourite whisky from the islands?
Higland Park 25yo. Thank you very much. Though the 4.92 (SMWS bottling) has certain qualities that I am very endeared to.
