I've watched someone die (Ayrton Senna, Monza, May 1994) live on TV. I've never seen it happen outside of my window. Until today.

The best I got was the police beating up some guy on my doorstep. How did this person die?

She was on a bicycle, hit by a truck. The whole paramedics drama unfolded. They're just clearing up now, and there's police tape all over.

Its always a shock.

I'm just glad I missed the kid and a lorry where it's head was squashed flat.

I'm feeling a lot better now, but watching dad die was a shock to the system.
