Two long days

Friday was spent in Manhattan, shopping, then the long trek out to deepest Pennsylvania in Alexis's mother's car.  Night spent at a comfortable motel that didn't appear to have any reason for being where it was.

Saturday, up early to head to the prison camp (for 'camp' is a far better word... there's a country club and golf course and a college on the road leading up to it, and deer and geese on the grounds!) to visit Alexis's dad.  The visiting room is strange, full of friends, relatives, and vending machines.  We spent the best part of the day there, before heading back, being dropped off in Manhattan so we could finish up some shopping, and get a curry.

Finally got the train home, and back in just after 10.
