Thursday
A supposedly exciting day for Total Systems plc, we had a presentation on the results and actions to be taken as part of the 'Company Transformation' project kicked off last month. It's based on a new sales technique, and it means we're going to get a smart new ground floor of the office which means clients and prospects won't have to see some more of the grotty parts, and, er, we're doing a few other things.

We had the presentation down at the Business Design Centre, in the Executive Suite. It was, to be blunt, pretty boring. Free beer and nibbles at the end, though.

Friday
Played bridge with Vanessa in the evening, didn't do very well. Got home after midnight, totally knackered, and had a good sleep.

Saturday

There were supposed to be a couple of people calling today... supposed to being the operative. First was a guy who was going to give me a quote on some tiling, at aroung 10am. I got a call from his wife telling me he'd had to go up to the Midlands instead, because someone's ceiling had collapsed. Next was, well, no surprises on this outcome, somebody who was supposed to be connecting up my flat to the Sky dish on the roof. He was meant to be there 'before midday'. By 2pm, I'd given up on him turning up, and on the rest of the day as a whole. Alexis left a message on his voicemail, but I've heard nothing. I dragged myself out just before eight to head up to Sainsbury's to get dinner, and came back with a pizza.
