It occurs to me that I've not really said much about much of what I've been up to in LJ-land of late, not since I got back from visiting [livejournal.com profile] arosoff at any rate.
Life has been mostly quiet, except for the Easter weekend when I played in the Easter Festival of Bridge with my Dad. The less said about our efforts, the better, I feel.
On a far more positive note, [livejournal.com profile] arosoff is on her way over here to see me (and go to [livejournal.com profile] eponymousarchon and [livejournal.com profile] kyte's> wedding on May 1st) in just over a week's time. Cue happy bouncy me for a week and a half!
I've been totally neglecting what I started in [livejournal.com profile] pennydreadfuls. I've had no inspiration so to speak of, oh, and I've been playing way too much Civ 3.
Movie-wise, I've seen Starsky & Hutch, and Scooby Doo 2 - the former being the better of the two, but only because it doesn't lay on the Schmaltz with an industrial-sized trowel. I've promised to take Alexis to see Shaun of the Dead when she's over, which I've wanted to see since seeing the trailer.
Wedding-wise, the planning's moving slowly but surely ahead. Meetings have been arranged, invitations have been ordered (and, it seems, are now ready), and hotels are starting to get booked.
Work-wise, it's been more of the same, with the odd trip up to Hemel, such as today.
And that, as they say, is that.
