Saturday was great. Fantastic in fact. Highgate Cemetery - well worth a visit, even if it is to go and see Karl Marx's grave and think, "Bloody hell, that is just so tacky!". The company was also excellent. The consequences, too, were good.

Sunday invloved shopping at Bluewater, where I bought a new bedside alarm/radio/CD (nothing wrong with the old ones - just the alarm didn't have a radio, and the radio didn't have an alarm). Then got pissed, had a long rambling drunken chat, and ended up crashing on a sofa bed in Bermondsey, with a curious cat for company.

Monday involved me being in the wrong place to get to work, and, truth be told, in no real fit state to work anyway. I'm feeling a little guilty now - I think I could have made the afternoon. I had a chat with a friend yesterday evening, though, and I think I finally hit the nail on the head regarding my recent malaise. Funny how I've been running round in circles trying to work out why I've been unhappy, thinking I'm never going to figure it out, but I think I finally did.
