It took me three hours to get home from Angel today. Three hours! To go seven miles!

In related news, there's lots of snow. Bucketloads of the stuff. And someone's coming to fix my fridge/freezer, I hope, tomorrow morning. Chances are, there'll still be people stuck in traffic trying to get home!

I'm also perplexed as to why I ended up speaking to someone in the South Wales call centre attached to the Hoover/Candy service division, when I should've been speaking to someone in High Wycombe.

So, the fridge/freezer is working again. I can have cold beer again.

A bit of a strange day, overall. A totally unorganised trip to Tiger Lil's in Clapham, with six out of the expected ten turning up, and one of them only for about fifteen minutes. It was good that we got an early table, too; it soon filled up (with the coldest bit of Winter bringing out all the 'I'm harder than you, my skirt is shorter and my top is smaller' skimpy clothes - some nice to look at, others not so...).

For those who don't know Tiger Lil's, it's a bit like a Mongolian BBQ.
For those who don't know Mongolian BBQs, you get a plate, fill it up with uncooked meat and veg, take it to the chefs, who chuck it a wok, add sauce, set it on fire, and serve it up in a bowl. Repeat until the queue gets far too long, or you explode.

And a journey home.

I'm still feeling a little uncertain about how best to talk to certain people. Two in particular. Both lovely people, but I can't seem to find the words with them. Which is a shame, because I fancy one of them, and would dearly love to be a much better friend of the other.
