Well, I can't really criticise: I just had a look at my US congressman's page. He has a blog, but I actually think myspace would be an improvement! (If you want a laugh: http://www.house.gov/israel - Senators Clinton and Schumer remain blog-free.)
And hey, at least you can get a response from MPs here--I'd expect a secretary's response in the US for a lot of things, simply because with 700,000 constituents you get a lot of mail.
Our MP (Rudi Vis) doesn't even seem to have a web site.
