Slept badly, so up late-ish. Mind you, after yesterday's epic, I earned it. Work was ho-hum, with the general lack of management (only Dan's around right now, and he's cool) on my floor, things are quite easy-going. After-work drinks at a leaving do for one of the PMs, Bruce, decent bloke, Andy S gave quite a humourous typically deprecating speech. And so back home via BK.
Did look at wedding rings, Ernest Jones may have just what we're after but we'll see. I was also warned off Moss Bros for tux hire by someone else at work (mind, she's getting divorced at about the same time I'm getting married, so her outlook may be somewhat tainted).
Called nPower, who admitted that they had received notification that I was changing gas supplier, but they've put a hold on it until they get solid confirmation now. Called Powergen, whose customer service sucks (I had to go through 3 levels of menus last night before being told their lines closed at 8pm!), who didn't know anything but told me to 'wait a couple of days'. I called the line I was supposed to for transferring, why on earth didn't you know anything about my supposed transfer?! Still, if it does surface, I have a vague assurance that it will be ignored.
I only pay a fiver a month for my gas - so you can see why I'm not particularly bothered about switching supplier to save maybe 5-10p a month.
