Le weekend

arosoff pointed out, I really should stop going out and getting drunk every weekend like I've been doing the past three weeks, and am in danger of doing again next week. Two weeks ago, it was a night of whisky-drinking merriment at Gav's. Last week, it was at the Dorchester club with Mike from the bridge club (who's a member, don't you know?). Yesterday, it was Gav's again, this time for his flatwarming party.
I wasn't planning on getting drunk, honest. In fact, after getting up at 8.30am and playing Civ all day, I really wasn't feeling all that with it when I got there. Drink the Reef I'd brought with me, then toddle off home early. Pity I gave the punch a try, really. Lethal stuff it was - a very sneaky hangover that gave me.
At least today I forced myself to get the shopping done before sitting down to finish the game of Civ, but I've still done not much today. I need sleep, so I think I'll get it early tonight, for a change.
