How cool is that?

If I said I'd spent four hundred quid on two pairs of glasses, what would that make me?
Both are designer frames - one Police, with light-reactive lenses (Police sunglasses - how last year is that??), one Timberland, with clear lenses.
My current spec's are Lacoste.
I wear Doc Marten's, or Timberland trainers.
I have a Rotary wristwatch.
I think I make up in accessories and shoes for what I can't get in 'regular' designer clothes. Suffice it to say, should I lose enough weight to be able to buy gear in more exclusive boutiques, chances are, I would. I really want to own at least one shirt that I paid three figures for, but not until I have the stable and ever-so-slightly more lithe frame to put it on.

I can't even afford to get one cheap new pair of glasses - and the ones I have are about four years old now, and the little things that stop the frame from lacerating my nose have both fallen off.

*sigh*

How the other half lives, eh?

I'm not the other half. I'm just the lucky half, for the time being.
What I don't lack in material terms, though, are somewhat thin on the ground in other areas.
