I know, I know. The thing is, it's actually working, he's picking up people that would never normally read blogs, and getting comments and feedback from real, actual voters.
I met with him last Feb discussing setting up a 'real' blog for him (I'd have done it completely free and managed it), but it wasn't what he wanted; he looks at 'real' blogs as sort of policy diaries. This is very personal, and it works.
As for Steen? Man's a technophobe, getting emails out of him is difficult, you mail him, you get a letter in reply, I knew his constituency secretary.
