Nit-picking and stuff
In case you hadn't notice, my wife's been visiting her folks in the State for the past week and a half. I've not been up to much, really.
However, the nit-picking... I just ended up watching Love, Actually on Sky Movies. Say what you want, but I like this film. Even more so given the way it ends, and what I'll be doing tomorrow morning.
I just have a couple of things to point out, regarding the airport scene after the school concert.
Firstly, it's late-ish on Christmas eve, and the flight in question is transatlantic. No transatlantic flights, as far as I'm aware, leave much later than 6.30pm. In particular, Virgin flights don't, and this was a Virgin flight. I somehow doubt, with the 3-hour check-in, that they could've made it to such a flight, even leaving from Wandsworth. Especially on Christmas Eve.
Secondly, the flight is supposedly VS003. Now, this is a flight I've taken more than once - just so happens to be the 14:00 flight from LHR to JFK. Oops.
Thirdly, rememher I said it's from Heathrow? Ahh... well the airport scenes aren't filmed at Heathrow T3. At a guess, I'd say Gatwick South Terminal (well, at least that's the Virgin terminal).
Other than that, no problems, fine film....
