To expand, a little:

• It takes a while to dump, delete, and re-load a database table with 2 million records in it. Especially when you're due to be playing bridge that evening instead - heck, I know what I'd prefer to do.


• As far as I know, I never contacted Powergen about changing my gas supply to them. Unless they have a perfectly valid and innocent explanation as to why they think this, I may well be switching my electricity supplier in the near future, though.
